About me

I am an Industrial Design Engineering student at the University of Málaga. I completed a year exchange at UTS, in Sydney in July 2011. I´m finishing up my studies in at the moment and doing some work experience.

The problem of sustainability in design is particularly interesting to me, and I founded a webpage to explore the subject further and share what I learn along the way. At the moment my function there is mainly as editor and taking care of the technical stuff, while a group of multinational collaborators are increasingly involved in the project.

As well as studying Industrial Design Engineering I´ve got many other interests, and a bad habit of taking up more hobbies than I really have time for. I´m constantly learning and have developed an interest in social media marketing and blogging.

As can be seen from my skills and attributes, I am a fast learning all-rounder . I would fit well into a small entrepreneurial design related firm where I can contribute in multiple areas and would be an extremely keen learner. I´m also available currently not available for small freelance projects relating to my areas of expertise.

Work philosophy

I have worked since I was sixteen, in the construction, agriculture and tourism industries. I especially pride myself in having delivered really good customer service and made disgruntled clients happy ones.

Research is an important part of the design process, and I strongly believe in finding all-round best solutions and making adequate design decisions by looking at the bigger picture after having taken into account all the details.

Recently I´ve had a chance to prototype a few projects that I´m working on. I really love making stuff in the workshop, and cannot get enough of it.

I also have a very entrepreneurial character, although naturally more inclined to creating, designing and planning than jumping into action. However, I am determined to create a business and am building on relevant skills and networking.
